Interconnect Cables

We believe IC cables are the most important cable in the system because they are critical for maintaining your system’s resolution, and they can also alter the tone and timbre of your system in major ways. ZenWave offers THREE top of the line choices of interconnect cable: D4, D5 and DSR.

And our more affordable range with the D1, D2 & D3. These ZenWave cables use materials that are a bit warmer in character while still avoiding anything fatiguing. This also makes them more forgiving, which makes sense for less expensive systems or edgy recordings. However, I will say I think the D3 is my best value cable, it uses copper, silver AND silver/gold alloy wire that makes a cable that is pretty darn close to the D4 at a significant cost savings!

D1

D1, this cable also uses UPOCC copper litz wire, but is a hybrid design using silver-plated copper and teflon mil-spec wire for the ground leg. It also use Furutech CF-601 rhodium plated RCA plugs or FP-700 series XLR plugs for best value. While this cable is the least expensive, it’s also an amazing value and the cable that started ZenWave Audio. It’s a giant-killer of a cable if there ever was one!

D4

D4, a UPOCC silver/gold alloy cable with just enough gold added to achieve proper tone and realistic timbre in neutral to warm systems. This is the most accurate cable on offer and is a true reference standard. A great majority of folks who demo the D4 buy it, in fact over 80%, so be careful!
