AC power distribution is a critical part of a high fidelity audio system. I offer the Furutech GTX NCF as my preferred in-wall receptacle. It’s very expensive for a receptacle, yet it also offers the best bang-for-your-buck of any audio product. I feel like it’s a great value for what it offers: electrical contacts are pure copper with rhodium plating in a heavy-duty body with noise-reducing NCF material. There’s also optional Wall Frames and Covers available, which not only look amazing but also control vibration and shield the receptacle from noise which results in better sound quality. These are the same receptacles used in the e-TP609 NCF Power Distributor.

Matching all of your AC power connectors will make for a very clear sound without any hints of fatigue. Fatigue from AC power parts is often caused by mixing and matching connectors, especially mixing gold and rhodium plating. If you go all-in on rhodium the result is far superior clarity vs gold, and a plating that is much harder and more durable than gold.
